The Bergische Bücherstube was founded in 1985 in Bergisch Gladbach. Because we needed more space we moved at the end of 1998 to the neighbouring town of Overath (20 km from Cologne), where we do our mail-order business. Since 2002 we are a member of the ILAB (International Association of Antiquarian Booksellers)

The emphasis of our stock, which constantly varies and which we are always keen to expand, is on bibliography, history, art, architecture, regional history, philosophy, ethnological studies and travel literature.

In addition to the antiquarian stock we run a publishing department for reprints and books about our main genres of interest, as mentioned above.
